Just a few snaps taken of people finishing their finals…

Recently a duck had some ducklings and they wandered around the back quad for a while. Ducklings are surprisingly hard to take good pictures of, but i tried…

All the remaining good photos, as i can’t be bothered to do each day separately now…

Nobody was up for walking, mostly because we all got out of bed too late. So Beth and I decided to drive around neighbouring Glenshiel, where the coast overlooks the Isle of Skye. The weather was fantastic and we got some of the best views of all the highlands and islands…

After the walk I took a drive on my own. I can honestly say I think that evening was one of the happiest times of my life, and driving through a Scottish glen as the sun came down really made the moment.

On our first proper day we took a relatively gentle walk up one of the valleys to see quite a good waterfall. For several members of the group this was the first time they’d ever done any walking. It turned out to be a real success, and everyone coped well with periodic bouts of pelting rain, wind and hail.

Took a trip to North Western Scotland – Glenshiel to be precise – to get away from the stress of Oxford Finals for a week. T’was a week well spent. This first instalment shows some of the best shots taken on the drive up.

Just a few shots of the sort of stuff you only see in Oxford (and I guess probably Cambridge, but I haven’t been there, yet).

Today on my lunch break I went down to the University Parks, because they always get flooded this time of year and it looks cool, so I thought I’d get some snaps.
