Before walking, breakfast. Beth Decided to be a typical girl, and my protestations that make-up creates no appreciable difference were ignored…

The Walk was a good one to start with, quite gentle for the most part, and with an early stag to boot:
The top of a strange mound off the path afforded some good views…
We got to the waterfal after about 5 miles. It was actually a nice surprise, because Bob had tactically not told us to expect it, so when we rounded the corner it was quite unexpectedly spectacular.
Though Beth carried on playing the “i’m not looking at the camera” game:

On the walk back i hung behind to take in the views and just enjoy the scene on my own, grabbing a few pictures in the process.
